I went there for brunch with a few friends. The main floor has a bunch of long tables with benches, similar to a picnic table and the main bar in the middle of the room. I ordered the waffle breakfast sando. The waffles were absolutely delicious. There are little sugar pearls inside that give you a sweet crunch. The eggs were booked to my liking and the bacon was perfectly crisp. The home fries had a great crispy texture and nice rosemary flavor. When you order a breakfast item or salad you get a free mimosa, lager or screwdriver. I chose the mimosa and enjoyed it. I would definitely com back from brunch again.

Arrived on Sunday and Everything was closed up except for this place. Good selection on beer and cocktails. The atmosphere was cool. The food was such a wonderful surprise. I ordered beer chorizo mussels, excellent and the carrot roasted salad with fresh fruit. The mussels were so good I asked for extra bread to sop up the extra sauce. The salad was beautifully plated and loved their choice of fruit. I would definitely come back.

I have been to City Beer Hall multiple times and it never fails to impress me. The ambiance of the place creates a sense of community with its shared tables, making it a great spot to meet new people or gather with friends. The extensive beer and cocktail list is always dependable, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. During my last visit, I tried the beer and chorizo mussels and was blown away by the delicious flavor. However, I did find the portion size to be a bit on the smaller side, leaving me wanting more. Despite this, the quality of the dish was exceptional and definitely worth trying. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. One thing to note is that City Beer Hall tends to be very loud, which can make it difficult to have conversations at times. But if you're looking for a lively atmosphere with great food and drinks, this is the place to be.

Love this place. It's been here since I moved here over 11 years ago and is still here. The reason is it is just an amazing place. The beer selections and the food is unbelievable. Come here for a few food drinks and leave here with a full stomach of mouthwatering tasty and satisfying grub. It is not your typical bar food. This stuff is 5 star quality. Probably why it has lasted. The servers are all so friendly. The place is spacious, with a HUGE bar and dining area, plus rooftop for the summer months. This is one of my favorite places here in Albany.
